Styling Pink with Rose Gold Jewelry

I can’t tell you how much I am loving rose gold jewelry.  It is the total reason, (well that and the fact that I just colored my hair red-violet) that I find myself gravitating toward’s wearing pink.  I never liked pink because it was way too girly for my taste and not edgy enough for me.  But when I  coupled it with my new red-violet hair it turned out to be my fav for this fall.  Rose gold brought my look together and I can see how any skin tone could benefit from it.   Rose gold is flattering on most skin tones because it just warms up the skin so nicely.   It helps those of us that are not into pink; to incorporate more pink in our wardrobes. Let’s face it, pink is such a happy color that it uplifts your mood as well as others.  Pink says to me, “Hello nice to meet you.”

Now let’s discuss styling with our Rose gold jewelry.  My favorite thing to do with jewelry this fall is to wear heavy/thick pieces like bracelets and rings on one hand and to wear thin pieces on the other hand along with some classic thin hoop earrings.  I love this kind of imbalance because it keeps me from looking over accessorized and gives me that edge.  When it comes to incorporating more pink in my wardrobe, I tend to go for pink on the bottom and black on top with a black belt.  I find that mixing my metals a bit brings that edge as well, like wearing a black belt with a silver buckle to bring the black top and pink bottom (skirt or pants) together.  To dress it up even more opt for a black top with some sequin or shimmer.

Let’s start playing with rose gold this fall.
